VISION 01 explores how augmented reality can become a practical tool for craftsmanship, construction and demanding on site work. The concept brings digital information directly into the user’s field of view, supporting precise decisions without interrupting the physical workflow.
The design combines advanced AR technology with the visual language of protective eyewear. Cameras, sensors and power components are integrated into a robust and coherent frame that feels technical, durable and ready for daily use. The result is a product that connects the digital layer of AR with the resilience and clarity required in real working environments.

The form language of VISION 01 was developed through an iterative CAD process in Autodesk Alias. Multiple design variations were built to explore proportions, surface transitions, component integration and the overall fit of the eyewear.
A key focus was ergonomics. Using a digital head model, the frame geometry was repeatedly adjusted to test wearing position, balance and spatial relation to the face. These ergonomic studies helped define the angle of the lenses, the position of the technical modules and the way the product sits on the head during longer use.
The process moved from early SubD explorations into refined NURBS surface modeling. This allowed the design to achieve clean transitions, crisp edges and controlled surface quality while still responding to the technical packaging requirements. The final form reflects a balance between comfort, durability and precise industrial design.
